Orly - Lollipop

Hi everyone!!

Today, I have an Orly combo to share with you.

Orly Lollipop is a lovely pink creme and I paired it with Elation Generation, a darker pink packed with holographic glitter.  I then stamped a heart image on my middle and ring fingers from the Pueen 41 plate.

I love these two polishes together.  The heart image is super cute too!  What do you guys think of these two polishes?  Do you own any of them?

China Glaze - Wicked Style

Hi everyone!

For Twinsie Tuesday, we're sharing monochrome manicures.

For this mani, I paired with China Glaze Wicked Style with China Glaze Strawberry Fields.  They're both really pretty shades and look like they were made for each other.

On my ring finger, I stamped an image from the ZZ Abstractos 1 plate in gold.

I like creating manis with different polishes, but that are of the same color family.  What about you?  What do you think of these two together?

Essie - Coat Azure

Hi everyone!!

I have a super late Monday Blues post to share with you.  I had such a busy weekend and my Monday wasn't any lighter.  So, I'm only now getting around to writing this.  Hope you all had a great weekend ;0).

For this mani, I used Essie Coat Azure as a base.  It's a medium blue packed with shimmer and has an almost metallic finish.  It has a really good formula.  On my middle and ring fingers, I stamped an image from the MdU 3 plate.  I then added China Glaze Prism to my pinky and part of the ring finger.  It's such a gorgeous glitter!!

I loved wearing this combo!  It was fun and not a look I usually play around with.  What do you guys think?  Do you own any of these polishes?

Nude and Gold

Hi everyone!!

I have a very simple mani to share with you using two new colors from Pure Nail Lacquer: Soho Classy and Queens Queen.

Soho Classy is a pinkish nude creme.  It applies really well and is opaque in two coats.  Queens Queen is a metallic gold shimmer.  This one applies really well.  It's actually a one-coater, but I used two coats for this mani.

Artificial Light

Soho Classy is a great polish for those who like a really simple, nude look.  I love the pop from the accent nail with this one though.

What do you guys think of these two colors?  Would you wear them together?

Throwback Thursday

Hi everyone!!

For Throwback Thursday, I decided to do some stripes and stamping.

For the stripes, I used China Glaze Recycle (gray creme), Sinful Colors Morning Star (blue shimmer) and Sinful Colors Flutter (pink shimmer).  I then used Just by Ricarda Whiteout (an awesome stamping polish) to stamp an image from the Mundo de Unas 3 plate.

Artificial Light

Artificial Light
I love, love, love how this mani turned out!!  It looks so artsy.  I had fun with this one.

What do you guys think?  Have you tried anything like this before?

Sally Hansen - Madame X

Hi everyone!!

I haven't done Pink Wednesday in a while, so here's a fun pink mani to share with you ;0).

Sally Hansen Madame X is a dark pink, leaning red with an excellent formula.  It applied flawlessly and was opaque in two coats.  I'm wearing it on my index and middle fingers.  I decided to pair it with Avon Fuchsia Fun, a sheer fuchsia shimmer.  It required three coats for full opacity.  I added polka dots with the alternate colors on my middle and ring fingers.

Artificial Light

Artificial Light
This was a simple, yet fun mani to wear.  I just love these two colors together and, of course, I'm a polka dot lover ;0).

What do you guys think of this combo?

Nude and Flowers

Hi everyone!!

Today's Twinsie Tuesday prompt is tulips.

This mani was inspired by a mani that Heidi (@sherrybombnails on IG) did a while back.  Mine didn't turn out quite as nicely, but it still looks pretty cool.

I did a gradient with Pure Nail Lacquer Boardroom Boss and a taupe polish by E.L.F.  I then stamped the flowers in white from the UberChic 6-03 plate.

Artificial Light

Here's a look at the double stamping I did on my thumb.

I really liked this color combo a lot!!  And I'm in love with these flower images from this plate.  They're tulips right?!! ;0)

What do you guys think of this nude and floral combo?  Do you like flower nail art?

Essie - Go Overboard

Hi fellow nail polish lovers!!

Today, I have a dark teal creme from Essie to share with you for Monday Blues.

Go Overboard has a really good formula.  It applies easily and is opaque in two coats.  It's a simple polish.  I added one coat of Sally Hansen Glass Slipper on my ring finger.  It has glass flecks in a clear base.

Artificial Light

I liked wearing this fall-esque look.  It was a good palette cleanser.

What do you guys think of Go Overboard?  Did you ever pick this one up?

Saturday Swap... on a Sunday

Hi everyone!!

I hope you're all enjoying the weekend!!  In NY it's sunny and getting warmer, which makes me very happy ;0).

My week was so hectic and so was my Saturday, so I didn't get a chance to post the mani swap I did with Aimee of @polishpastime.

I absolutely love Aimee's nails and she always has such fun designs.

Here's a closer look at my recreation.

For this mani, I used China Glaze Life Preserver, a lovely burnt orange creme with a great formula, on my index and pinky fingers.  On my ring finger, I used Orly Ingenue.  It's a metallic duochrome of copper and purple.  The formula was pretty sheer, so I used three coats for full opacity.  On my middle finger, I used Delush Polish Swans Upon A Time as a base and stamped an image with Life Preserver from the BP 42 plate.  I then added some dots in the middle of the flowers with Ingenue.

Artificial Light

Artificial Light
I was absolutely in love with this color combo!!  And the flower image is so cute!  This was a really great mani that Aimee created.

What do you guys think of this look?

Pure Ice - Purple Reign

Hi everyone!!

Today, I have a mani with a lovely purple and gold shimmer from Pure Ice called Purple Reign.

I paired Purple Reign with Sally Hansen Uptempo Plum on ring and pinky fingers.  It's dark purple, almost black packed with shimmer.  Unfortunately, the shimmer didn't translate much on the nail.  On my ring finger, I stamped an image from the XY18 plate in gold.

Artificial Light

You can slightly see the shimmer in Uptempo Plum on my pinky in the last picture.

I thought this was a fun and unique pairing.  What do you guys think?  Do you like Purple Reign as much as I do?

Twinsie Tuesday: Gradient With Stamping

Hi fellow nail polish lovers!!

For Twinsie Tuesday, we are doing gradient with stamping.  My regular readers know that this was right up my alley, especially the stamping part ;0).

For this mani, I used two American Apparel polishes: Dynasty, a dusty purple creme, and 7th and Alameda, a dark gray creme.  For my stamping, I used the UberChic 5-02 plate.

Artificial Light

Artificial Light
I love gray and purple together and thought this was a fun combo with the stamping.  These two polishes applied really well and were opaque in two coats.  I'm loving my American Apparel polishes!

What do you guys think of this gradient with stamping combo?

Check out the other Twinsies to see what they came up with this week!

Cadillacquer - Be Happy

Hi fellow nail polish lovers!!

Today, I have a manicure using polishes from Cadillacquer.

Be Happy is a medium blue holo and Be Brave is a medium purple holo.  Both of them have a really good formula. I stamped an image from the Winstonia Expressionism plate with Bundle Monster Wavelengths over Be Brave on the accent nail.

Artificial Light

Artificial Light
This was a simple look, but I loved these two together!  This was my first time trying this brand, though I've been a fan of swatches I've seen for a while now.

What do you guys think of these two polishes?  Do you own any polishes from Cadillacquer?

Saturday Swap

Hi everyone!!

This week, I did a mani swap with Stella (@lvly_nails_by_Stella).  Here's what we did.

And here's a closer look at my recreation.

Artificial Light

Artificial Light
For this mani, I used Pure Nail Lacquer Break Out (version 2) as my base.  I then stamped an image from the Cici & Sisi 04 plate in black.  Lastly, I used my dotting tool to create the red hearts on my middle and ring fingers.

I really love this edgy look.  I don't think I would've come up with a combo like this on my own.

What do you guys think of this look?

Be sure to follow Stella on IG.  Her nails are awesome!!

Avon - Violetta Sparkle

Hi everyone!!

I pulled out two of my Avon polishes from my untrieds for today's mani.

Violetta Sparkle is a deep purple jelly base packed with gold shimmer.  It's opaque in two coats and applies really well.  Avon Golden Sand (on my ring finger) is a burnt orange metallic polish with a hint of gold shimmer.  I stamped images on my middle and ring fingers from the UberChic 6-01 plate.

Artificial Light

Artificial Light
This was a unique combo, but I liked it.  I am especially in love with Violetta Sparkle.  That gold shimmer is AMAZING!!!

What do you guys think of these two polishes?  Do you have any Avon polishes in your stash?

Throwback Thursday

Hi everyone!!

For Throwback Thursday, I pulled out my Color Club Revvvolution AGAIN, but this time I paired it with Pa AA63, a pink base with black glitters.  On my ring finger, I added stamping in pink from the Cheeky Jumbo Plate 10.

AA63 is one of my favorite polishes!!  I love that speckled look.  Pink and black also happens to be one of the combos I really like.

American Apparel - Army Jacket

Hi everyone!!

I have another green mani to share with you today!

American Apparel Army Jacket is an army green creme with a great formula!  It applies without effort and is opaque in two coats.  Why does the bottle look like that you ask?  I've had this polish for a looooong time and this is what happened when the polish settled.  Though I've shaken it up, there was still some residue left on the bottle.  It still applies really well though.

I paired Army Jacket with L.A. Girl Rock Star Spring (NL122) on my middle finger. It has gold flakies in a light green base and green shimmer.  I then stamped an image in gold from the XY18 plate.

Artificial Light

Artificial Light
I love Army Jacket a lot!!  It's such a great green.  And I love it paired with the gold.

What do you guys think of Army Jacket?  How about that awesome flaky?
