Throwback Thursday

Hi everyone!!  Can you believe 2015 has come to on end?  Mind blown!!  The older I get, the faster time goes.  Anyone else feel that way?

Anyhoo, I have a mani for Throwback Thursday to share with you all using one of my older polishes in my stash, Andrea Fullerton Petrol in the Water.

I was hoping the stamping would show up more in this mani, but it had a really subtle look.  I used the brown end of this dual polish as my base.  I then stamped the shimmer topper end with an image from the UberChic 6-01 plate.

I liked how this mani turned out, I just wish the image showed up more to see the beauty of it.

What do you guys think of the final result?  Are you a brown nail polish fan?

Sincerely Polish - Sincerely With Love

Hi everyone!!

I have a pink mani to share with you today ;0).

Sincerely With Love is a deep pink with holographic shimmer throughout.  It has a thick formula and dries to a matte finish, but applies well.  I paired it with Color Club Ulterior Motive on my pinky finger.

On my ring finger, I did a dry marble with Sincerely With Love and Ulterior Motive.  I then stamped a silver floral image over it from the UberChic 6-03 plate.

You guys know I love a girly mani, so I really liked this one.  What do you guys think of Sincerely With Love?

These are really lovely shades and work perfectly for transitional polishes.  They all had a great formula.  With the exception of April, they all applied well and were opaque in two coats.  April was a bit more streaky and required three coats.  I'm in love with Misty, Lake and Ireland.

The Whispers collection is now available for pre-order here.  Orders will begin shipping on January 15, 2016.

What do you guys think of these polishes?  Any favorites?

Love & Beauty - Light Blue

Hi fellow nail polish lovers!!  Happy Monday!

For Monday Blues, I have a polish from Forever 21to share with you.

Love & Beauty Light Blue is a baby blue with a subtle shimmer.  Unfortunately, the formula isn't the greatest.  It requires three to four coats for full opacity because it's really streaky.  It's such a pretty color though!

I paired it with GAP Aqua Sparkle on my ring and pinky fingers.  It's a lovely iridescent glitter.  I then stamped an image in white from the UberChic 6-02 plate.

I loved wearing this soft look.  What do you think of Light Blue?  Do you have any Love & Beauty polishes?

Level Up Lacquer - Swatches & Review

Hi fellow nail polish lovers!!

Today, I have a review of  a few Star Wars inspired polishes from Level Up Lacquer (formerly Daring Digits).

Artoo
White base with blue hexes, squares and silver circles.

Artificial Light

Artificial Light

Artificial Light
Artoo has a good formula.  It gives great coverage in two coats, but I used three coats for good measure.  There's also a generous amount of glitter with each coat.  Here's a macro.

Level Up Lacquer - Artoo
Captain Phasma
A silver/gray creme with a linear holo effect.

Artificial Light

Artificial Light
Captain Phasma is so gorgeous!!!  Look at that holo!  And I love the color too.  The formula is a bit sheer, but it's good.  It applies well and is opaque in three coats.  The dry time is a little slow though, so I recommend waiting a bit between coats.

Level Up Lacquer - Captain Phasma
BB-8
Glitter bomb with white squares, silver and orange hexes and tiny white specs

BB-8 is full of glitter with each coat.  I used three coats over white.  Here's a macro.

The Dark Side
Black jelly with a purple red shimmer and red and black holographic glitters.

The Dark Side is absolutely stunning!!!  I love this vampy polish and the beautiful glitter in it.  It has a really good formula and is opaque in two coats.

Level Up Lacquer - The Dark Side
I'm so happy Ash is back to making polishes!!  She's always done a great job and these did not disappoint.  I'm especially in love with Captain Phasma and The Dark Side, though they're all fun polishes.

What do you guys think of these four polishes?  Do you have any favorites?

Zoya - Harley

Hi fellow nail polish lovers!!  Merry Christmas!!  I hope you're enjoying this holiday with family and friends ;0).

Today, I have a gray and black manicure to share with you.  I know, it's definitely not a Christmas mani, but I still think it's a fun one.

I've had Zoya Harley for such a long time and finally pulled it out of my untrieds.  It's a light gray with a subtle silver shimmer throughout.  It was sheerer than I expected and has a slightly frosty finish.  It applies well though and is opaque in three coats.

I did some double stamping with black and silver using an image from the UberChic 6-01 plate.  I also added silver and black dots on my ring and pinky fingers.

My double stamping could use some work, but I like how this turned out.  I think this design is so elegant.  What do you guys think of this look?  Are you doing anything special today?

Throwback Thursday

Hi everyone!!

Today, I have a manicure using Revlon Gray Suede and Brash Green Machine, two of my favorite older polishes.  I did a gradient on each nail, then added an image from the UberChic 6-01 plate in gold.

I really love this color combo!  And this is yet another image I love from UberChic.  What do you guys think of the final result?
