Twinsie Tuesday - Splatter

Hi everyone!!

For this week's Twinsie Tuesday post, we're sharing splatter manicures.  For my mani, I used Essence The Dawn is Broken, I then chose a random orange, purple and pink for the splatter.  I then topped it off with Miracote.

This mani was just okay for me.  I should have used more contrasting colors.  It looked better in person though.

Have you ever done a splatter manicure?  Do you like this technique?

Milani - Sail Away

Hi fellow nail polish lovers!!

I hope you all had a relaxing weekend.  Mine was so busy and way too short.  Now, it's Monday again and it's back to business as usual.

For Monday Blues, I have a Milani polish that I've had sitting in my untried for over a year, Sail Away.  It's a denim blue packed with silver shimmer.  The formula is really good; it applies well and is opaque in two easy coats.  I used two coats with no top coat.

This is a great fall/winter blue.  I love the shimmer in it!  What do you guys think of Sail Away?  Did you ever pick this one up?

Striping Tape Nail Art

Hi fellow nail polish lovers!!

I have a mani to share with you that I did using some striping tape.

I haven't used striping tape in a long time.  For this mani, I used Essence The Dawn is Broken as a base, then sponged Essence In Style over the striping tape.  I topped it off with Seche Vite.

I really have to experiment more with striping tape.  I love using it.

What do you guys think of the final result?  Do you use striping tape?

While the white and red polishes are pretty standard, I'm in love with the blue, Vandal Eyes.  It's such a pretty shade of blue and I love the shimmer in it.

What do you guys think of these three?  I really wanted to do some nail art with these three, but I was uninspired :(.

Revlon - Popular

Hi fellow nail polish lovers!!

For Pink Wednesday, I have a girly mani to share with you.

I wanted Popular from the moment the original version came out, Starry Pink.  It was difficult to find and then the name changed.  It's a pretty light pink crelly with small silver hexes and silver microglitter.  It applies well, but there's still some VNL after two coats.

I used the BP-42 stamping plate from Born Pretty Store to create this nail art look.  I really liked the floral design and decided to use a pink stamping polish, Bundle Monster Seeing Rainbows.

Love, Charlotte xo - Light Blue

Hi fellow nail polish lovers!!  Happy Monday!

Today, I have a lovely blue to share with you from Charlotte Russe.

Love, Charlotte XO Light Blue is a gorgeous periwinkle, leaning purple creme.  It applies really well and is opaque in two coats.  I decided to stamp an image from UberChic 3-02 using Bundle Monster Wavelengths stamping polish.  I then topped it off with Seche Vite.

I absolutely loved wearing this mani!!  The image is so pretty and I just love these two colors together.  My one problem with it was that my polish chipped the very next morning (after doing it the night before).  I was so sad about that :(.

What do you guys think of this mani?  Have you ever tried any Love, Charlotte XO polishes?
