Hi fellow nail polish lovers!!

Today I have a gorgeous neon polish to share with you from Orly.

Melt Your Popsicle is a neon orange that dries matte.  It has an okay formula.  It's slightly streaky and required three coats to level out.  I've wanted this one for quite some time and finally got it a few months ago.

OMG Nail Strips - Intrigue

The package of nail strips comes with 14 nail polish strips and application is really easy.  This was one of the easiest experiences I had with applying nail strips.  It is recommended that you apply a top coat after applying the strips.  I used Out the Door top coat.

I wore these nail strips for 5 days and they lasted well.  I only had some tip wear.  Removal was a little more difficult that with normal polish, but it wasn't too bad.  I was really happy with them.  I'm looking forward to trying my other design to share with you all.

What do you guys think of this design?  Have you tried this brand before?

OMG Nail Strips may be purchased online here for $7.99 each.  They are currently offering a 5 for $25 promotion with coupon code “5pack” and a 10 for $45 with the coupon code “10pack”.  They also just starting offering nail art party packs - http://www.omgnailstrips.com/nail-art-party

Twinsie Tuesday - Recreate A Mani on a Celebrity

Hi fellow nail polish lovers!!

For this week's Twinsie Tuesday, we have to recreate a manicure we saw on a celebrity.  I decided to go with a simple look that I found worn by Aisha Tyler.

I love the combination of the lavender and the black she wore here.

To recreate this mani, I decided to use Cult Nails Love At First Night, a gorgeous bright lavender creme, and Ignite, a black jelly with silver microglitter.

I think my version has a special touch with the glitter in Ignite, don't you?  I really loved wearing this combo!

What do you guys think of these two polishes together?

Pueen 48 - Heart Design

Hi everyone!!

For Monday Blues, I'm sharing a mani I did using a Pueen stamping plate that I got from Harlow & Co. recently.

I used Hits Apolo as a base on my index, middle and pinky fingers and Mint Polish Rue Cler as a base on my ring finger.  I then stamped a heart pattern from Pueen 48 using A-England Excalibur over the blue and Apolo over the gray.

I really like this design!!  I just wish Apolo showed up a bit more.  I topped the mani off with Out the Door Top Coat.

Artificial Light

Artificial Light
I wanted to show you guys the beauty that is Rue Cler on its own.  It's a gorgeous gray packed with shimmer.  Here I used two coats with no top coat.

And here's a look at the Pueen 48 stamping plate.  I used the image on the right.

What do you guys think of this mani?  Do you like blue and silver together?

Cult Nails Falling Hard and Winter's Light

Hi everyone!!

It's Wednesday, so I have a pink mani to share with you ;0).

Cult Nails Falling Hard is a gorgeous barbie pink creme with a great formula.  It applied flawlessly and was opaque in two coats.  For my accent nail, I added three coats of Winter's Light, a purple jelly packed with purple microglitter.  This too had a good formula and applied really well.  I used no top coat in these pictures.

Artificial Light

Artificial Light

I really like these two polishes and they go really well together.  It's such a girly mani, which I love!!

What do you think of these two polishes?  Do you have any of them in your stash?

Unfortunately, I was saddened by the news that Cult Nails will be closing.  The shop will reopen on January 25th and polishes are 60% off.  So make sure you get all the polishes you wanted while they're still available.  You can visit the store here.

OPI - On Her Majesty's Secret Service

Hi fellow nail polish lovers!!

This week's Twinsie Tuesday theme is "fandom."  I have to say, I'm not really obsessed with anything except nail polish and food.  So I took the easy way out and decided to just share a polish I had in my huge untried pile.

OPI On Her Majesty's Secret Service is a sheer blue base packed with pink, green, gold holographic shimmer from the Skyfall collection. It requires three coats for full opacity, but applies really well.  Here I used three coats with Out the Door Top Coat.

Artificial Light

I've been falling in love with stamping lately, as you may have noticed.  I'm constantly looking at YouTube videos to see how to get better, so I thought, why not do some stamping over this.  I decided to stamp some flowers over it with Color Club Pearl District.

Artificial Light

Artificial Light
The stamping out to be more subtle than I expected, but it still made a combo.  Here's a macro to get a better look at the design.

OPI On Her Majesty's Secret Service w/ stamping (macro)

OPI On Her Majesty's Secret Service and floral stamping (macro)
I absolutely the beauty of the shimmer in this polish.  You can see it really well in the macro.

For this design I used the VL 032 stamping plate (pictured below).

What do you guys think of the mani I came up with?  If you had to do a fandom mani, what would it be?

Love, Charlotte XO - Turquoise

Hi fellow nail polish lovers!!

For Monday Blues, I have a turquoise polish from Charlotte Russe to share with you.

I was surprised that this polish was matte.  The formula was just okay.  It was slightly runny and some of it got into my cuticles.  Here I used two coats.

Artificial Light

Of course, I had to add top coat and I loved it so much better.  I used Glitter Daze Super Smooth Top Coat.

Artificial Light

Artificial Light
Turquoise is a really lovely polish.  I just think it's way better with the top coat.  It has a much smoother look.

What do you guys think of this polish?  Do you prefer the matte or shiny version?
