I just love Danielle's polishes!  All of these polishes have a really great formula.  With Pure Gold, you do need to wait between coats though.  Since the base is a jelly finish, it can get too thick if you apply the coats too quickly.

I really like each of these polishes in their own way and I think these are polishes you can wear year round.  What do you think of these new colors?

Pure Nail Lacquer can be purchased online here for $5 per bottle.

You guys know I'm not a matte lover, but there's just something about these polishes.  I actually like ALL of them.  I think it's the shimmer and velvety texture.  They all have a great formula.  They apply flawlessly and Harlow was a one coater.  They also dry very quickly.

What do you guys think of these polishes?  Do you plan to get any polishes from this collection?

The Ignite collection can be purchased online at Zoya.com here.  Bottles are $9 each.

Pink Wednesday - Anniversary Post

Hi everyone!! Happy Wednesday!!

Today is my 3 year blog anniversary!    I can't believe it's been three years.  I wanted to go all out and do lots of fun stuff in honor of this milestone, but I've been really swamped lately and I haven't gotten a chance to do anything :-(.    I do want to take the opportunity to say thank you SO MUCH to all of you who have stuck with me.  I truly appreciate your lovely comments and I'm so grateful you take the time to stop by and read my posts.  I'm looking forward to many more years of blogging!

Since it's Wednesday, I did a fun Pink Wednesday mani.

On my index and middle fingers I wore Pure Nail Lacquer Honesty.  I then did a dry marble using Love Life, Endless, Fiesta and Sassy Me on my ring and pinky fingers.  I topped the mani off with Out The Door top coat.

I'm really loving experimenting with this dry marble look.  There are endless possibilities.  What do you guys think of this mani?

Dry Marble Nail Art

Hi everyone!!

I'll be skipping today's Twinsie Tuesday theme since I don't celebrate Halloween and that's the theme for this week.  So I decided to share a mani that I did a couple weeks ago.

I've been meaning to attempt a dry marble nail art for a while now and I finally checked out a few YouTube tutorials.  So, with Pure Nail Lacquer Loyal, Endless and Sweet Dreams, I created the look on my ring finger.  On my index and middle fingers, I used Pure Nail Lacquer Endless and on my pinky, I layered Pure Nail Lacquer Pure Gold over Sweet Dreams.  I topped the entire look off with Out the Door top coat.

The dry marble technique was really simple to do.  It's much easier to achieve than water marble, so I plan to do a lot more of these.  You can see a few tutorials here, here and here.

What do you guys think of this manicure?  Have you tried the dry marble technique?

Borghese Espresso Brown and Confetti Party Palace Blue

Hi everyone!!

I have two pretty polishes to share with you today that make a really unique, yet fun combo.

The first is Borghese Espresso Brown, a brown shimmer I picked up from the drug store over a year ago.

Espresso Brown has a great formula and was opaque in two easy coats.  The shimmer in it is so pretty!!  Here I used no top coat.

I had a pretty blue and holographic glitter by Confetti, a brand found at CVS, and I decided to add it over Espresso Brown.

Party Palace Blue doesn't have much glitter with each coat, so I used two coats over Espresso Brown.    I then topped it off with Out the Door top coat.  I really loved these two together.  I couldn't stop staring at my nails.

So while this isn 't a typical Monday Blues manicure, I hope it makes you smile and takes some of your blues away ;0).

What do you guys think of these two polishes?  Do you like them together?

Julep - Transition to Fall Campaign

Hi everyone!!

I was invited to take part in Julep's Transition to Fall Campaign and share a manicure with a fall color.  Though, I don't necessarily wear colors according to seasons, I tend to go for more pastels and bright colors in the summer.  One of my favorites is Essence A Lovely Secret.

If you like lavender shades like these, a pretty good color to transition to for the fall would be Julep Charlotte.

Artificial Light

Artificial Light
Charlotte is such a gorgeous purple creme with a great formula.  Because in the fall it gets darker earlier and it starts to get cold, I like to add a pop of color to my manis to brighten up my day.  So here's what I came up with.

Artificial Light
For this mani, I used Essence A Lovely Secret as a base on my middle and ring fingers.  I then used a fan brush to add Sinful Colors Pink Forever and Julep Charlotte.  I added a coat of Essie Pure Pearlfection for some sparkle.  I topped the mani off with Out the Door top coat.

Artificial Light
I really love the way this mani turned out.  Fan brush nail art always looks so artsy.

Here's an infographic that Julep came up with some great fall colors to transition to.

What's your favorite fall color to wear?  What do you guys think of the look I came up with?

Check out some of Julep’s nail polish colors!
