Twinsie Tuesday - Odd Inspiration

Hi everyone!!

This week, for Twinsie Tuesday, we're supposed to share manicures inspired by odd things.   I don't know that mine would be considered an "odd inspiration", but I decided to be inspired by a white and mint green towel that I have.

For this manicure, I used GlitterDaze Mint Summer Night as a base.  It's a mint green shimmer that is fully opaque in two coats.  I then created stripes using straight Nail Vinyls with Orly Au Champagne.

Here's a look at Mint Summer Night on its own.

And here's another look at the mani with the white stripes.

This is a really simple look, but I love the way it turned out.  The shimmer in these polishes make it really special.

What do you guys think of the final result?  What odd inspirations have you had to design your nails?

Check out the other Twinsies' pages to see what odd inspirations they had this week!

  1. Pretty combination together here. They look good.

  2. I love the combination, it's so delicate!

  3. These colors are so perfect together!

  4. First I thought it was white but when I look closely at it, its a light green nail color. I begin to like it when you have put some white on it. It has a classy look.

  5. Very pretty combination! It looks very vintage, which I love!

  6. This is a gorgeous look! I love how soft both polishes are but they're still incredibly beautiful, especially together.

  7. It's so soft and shimmery, Marisa--I love it!! ♥

I love hearing from you all. So feel free to leave a comment :0). I'll read each and every one! Comments with links will be deleted!
