Zoya Awaken Collection - Swatches & Review

Hi fellow nail polish lovers!!

I hope you all had a great weekend!  We're expecting more snow today :(.  AGAIN!!  I've definitely had enough.  How about we look ahead to spring!

I have swatches of Zoya's Awaken Collection to share with you today!  I think they'll brighten up your mood ;0).

Let's get right to it!

Dot
Pink Petal Cream

Artificial Light

Artificial Light
Dot has a crelly finish.  It's slightly thick and a bit streaky, but it did level out after the third coat.  I think it would be better if you carefully apply thin coats.  It's a really pretty pink though.  This polish was actually originally created for fashion designer Zang Toi's SS14 collection.

Cole
Peach Whisper Cream

Artificial Light

Artificial Light
Cole is a peach leaning coral and it has a really good formula.  It applies easily and is opaque in two coats.  It was originally created for fashion designer Peter Som's SS14 collection.

Brooklyn
White-Gold Shimmer Metallic

Artificial Light

Artificial Light
Brooklyn applies really well, is opaque in two coats and dries really quickly.  It is a bit brush-strokey though.  It's a really pretty gold for spring.  I just don't know if it's the right gold for me.

Dillon
Green Mint Shimmer Metallic

Artificial Light

Artificial Light
Dillon is one of my favorites from this collection.  I love this shade of green and the shimmer is super pretty!  It applied really well and was opaque in two coats.

Rebel
Blue Sky Shimmer Metallic

Artificial Light

Artificial Light
Rebel is also a favorite of mine from this collection.  It's such a pretty blue!  This too applied really well and was opaque in two coats.

Hudson
Purple Orchid Shimmer Metallic

Artificial Light

Artificial Light
Hudson is my kind of purple.  It's a pretty, bright shade and I love the sparkle it has from all of the shimmer.  It was opaque in two easy coats.

Monet
Multi-Color, Cellophane Holographic Glitter Topper

I decided to layer Monet over each polish, so you could see the versatility of it.  To me, it goes really well over all except Brooklyn.  Over Brooklyn, it clashes a bit.  I used one coat over each color.  It applied well even though the base is a bit on the thick side.

My personal favorites of the collection: Dillon, Rebel and Hudson.  I'm in love with the shimmer packed goodness.  What do you guys think of this collection?  Any polishes calling your name?

The Awaken Collection may be purchased online at www.zoya.com.
