He Picks My Polish

Hi fellow nail polish lovers!!

I recently joined a group on Facebook called "He Picks My Polish."  The members of the group have their significant other choose two or more polishes and have to create a look with them.  Here are the two polishes my husband chose.

Catherine Arley 673 and Tapping Tips Pink Frost
Now, I have to admit that when he gave me the two colors, I was disappointed.  I even tried to sway him by being dramatic: "Really?  These two colors?"  He just said "Yep."

Anyhoo, I was able to come up with a look that worked.

I simply freehanded Pink Frost over 673.  On my ring finger, I then added another coat of 673 at the tip.  I topped the mani off with Nubar Diamont.

What do you guys think of this look?  Have you ever had your boyfriend or husband pick your polish?

  1. I like what you ended up doing! It's very pretty! I think this is a super fun challenge. I ended up doing art I never, ever would have done otherwise.

  3. Whoa, your free hand is mighty impressive! It's so straight, I'm completely jealous - mine always looks like I'm drunk when I paint it. Your husband choose some pretty colors though! So sparkly and feminine! Glad you joined in this round, hope to have you both in the future :)
