Pure Ice Swatches & Review

Hi fellow nail polish lovers!!

I recently received a few polishes for review from Pure Ice.  They're very appropriate for the 4th of July, so I wanted to share them with you ASAP.

Freedom

Freedom is a clear base packed with red microglitter, blue and red medium hex glitter and silver star glitters.  It surprisingly can give full coverage in three coats and applies really well.  The only thing is that the stars tend to settle and it's difficult to get them on the brush.  I was able to get two on my pinky, but it was covered up when I added my third coat.  I used no top coat in these swatches.

Siren

Siren is a gorgeous apple red creme.  It has an awesome formula and is fully opaque in one coat.  These swatches are one coat with no top coat.

Can you believe this is only one coat?  This is a really awesome polish.

I decided to come up with a fun mani using Siren, Freedom and the third polish I received, Dazzle Me.

Dazzle Me contains silver microglitter and medium hex glitter in a clear base.  It gives great coverage in just one coat.

I layered two coats of Freedom over Siren on my index and ring fingers.

I love the look of this manicure with its fun mixture of glitters.  It would make a great mani for Independence Day.

What do you guys think of these three polishes?  What will you be wearing on your nails for July 4th?

  3. These are really cool! Freedom is especially pretty. I wonder why star glitters always seem to be so hard to get hold of though, no matter what polish they're in.

    1. Yeah, I've had that problem with stars in other polishes as well. I agree, it's still pretty though.
