OPI - Ali's Big Break

Hi fellow nail polish lovers!!

Today, I have a gorgeous red from OPI's Burlesque collection.  Ali's Big Break is a polish I wanted for a while after seeing it on Deborah's blog.  I finally saw it on a blog sale and jumped at getting it.  It's an apple red with glass flecks.  It's pretty sheer, but has a good formula.  Here I used three coats with no base or top coat.

Natural Light

Though this polish still had VNL after three coats, I really love it.  It's so pretty and shiny.  It's a lovely red!

What do you guys think of Ali's Big Break?  Did you ever pick this one up?

  1. Very pretty! I don't have this one but it's a lovely color!

  2. This isn't a "me" color but it is gorgeous none the less! The Burlesque collection had so many amazing polishes, it's one of my favorites.

  3. That is a very juicy colour love it :D

  4. Very pretty on you! I seem to recall it pulls more pink on me--but most things do. :)

    1. It pulls more pink in me (vs red) also. Sort of a rosy/raspberry shade. I had wished it did look more red leaning on me but it's still a goodie!

  5. I love, love the Burlesque collection. I have horded about 10 bottles of Let Me Entertain You from it...I have many magentas but none that measure up to LMEY - it's been such a cult fan fav am surprised it never made it into the classic collection - but since OPI sold to Coty seems they don't put hardly any into the classic collection like they used. Alli is a good one to - and agree, it's thin and normally that's a turn off for me - but this one is just go the right 'stuff' in it and the right color (and right over-all formula) that it's a real keeper. If you ever get your paws on LMEY grab it...it's been going up and up on the secondary market...probably the most sought after one in the Burlesque collection.

I love hearing from you all. So feel free to leave a comment :0). I'll read each and every one! Comments with links will be deleted!
