I have a review of some golden nail art decals from Born Pretty Store to share with you. They are metallic hearts than can be used for nail art. Since I was wearing Butter London's Two Fingered Salute, I decided to try the hearts because Two Fingered Salute has lots of golden shimmer in it.
According to Born Pretty's site, it can be used on both artificial and natural nails. I used a coat of Beauty Secrets Top Coat, then placed the heart on the nail and added another coat of top coat to hold the heart in place.
As you can see, the heart was slightly raised on part of the nail. The reason for this is that the heart is a very hard metal and isn't bendable to take the shape of the nail.
I think these hearts are really pretty, I just wish they would lay flat on the nail. Maybe those more experienced with these types of nail art materials would be able to work with these more easily.

**Products sent for honest review**
These look so cute, but what a shame you can't bend them! They wouldn't last five minutes on me - I'd lose them in my hair (that happened once with a googly eye...it turned up later that day though).

ReplyDeleteI purchased the star version of these and was really bummed they didn't lay flat! There is no way I could wear them around, hanging off of my nails! But they are cute!
