Cult Nails Spontaneous and Polish Well Purple Rose of Virgo

Hi everyone!!

I feel like every time I share a fairly new Cult Nails polish, there's already another collection, lol.  Anyhoo, today I have Spontaneous from Coco's collection, which was released a little over a month ago.  It's a medium toned purple with gorgeous shimmer.  It dried to a gritty finish which I didn't expect.  You guys know how I love a nice shine to my polish.  Here I used SH Diamond Strength, 2 coats of Spontaneous, and no top coat.

A macro shot so you can see the gorgeous shimmer.  This has top coat.

I added The Polish Well's Purple Rose of Virgo, a clear base with purple, blue, and holographic glitter on my thumb and ring finger.  I finished the mani off with Seche Vite Fast Dry Top Coat.

These two polishes worked so well together.  I'm in love with Purple Rose of Virgo!  I think it was a great purple mani.

What do you guys think of these two polishes?

  1. Luckily the topcoat creates a smooth surface! Love the way you combined this one.

  2. That is a gorgeous purple. It's so much better with top coat. I really love the glitter too!

    1. Totally agree - it's pretty but yuck to the gritty non shinny finish on the Cult...my trial of it with SV did not give me a smooth finish with one coat of SV.
