OPI - Austin-Tatious Turquoise

Hi everyone!!!  It's Monday again, so that means it's "Monday Blues."

Today I have OPI Austin-Tatious Turquoise, which I picked up a while back from Duane Reade.  This polish is from last year's Texas collection.  It is a really pretty turquoise shimmer that is actually pretty sheer.  I was surprised at how sheer it was.  The first coat was a bit streaky.  I had to use 4 coats to get it fully opaque.  Otherwise, the formula was great and it does dry quickly.

I used no base or top coat in these pics.

This is a really pretty color that I plan to wear over and over, even if it does require four coats.

What do you guys think of Autin-Tatious Turquoise?  Are you wearing blue today?

  2. I haven't shown this one much love in my stash, For me it required "underwear" but it is gorgeous. Nice mani & post.

    1. Yeah, I have to try and identify some "underwear" for it too. Otherwise, with 4 coats, it'll be done very quickly!

  3. It looks really nice on you. I have sort of an aversion to these types of colours unless they are creme finish (I'll make an exception for a really awesome glitter) so I did not pick this one up from that collection, but it works great with your skin :)

  9. Very very nice! I'm not sure what OPI is thinking with these sheer polishes. I wouldn't keep a polish that requires 4 coats because I simply don't have the patience. But it's ok if you do have it. It's worth it!

  10. It's so pretty! I was also bummed at how thin the entire collection was, but then I realized I could use them as jelly sandwich polishes. :)

  12. I love this one! Although I usually layer it, since I don't have the patience for four coats.

  16. This is sooooo pretty! I don't think I'd bother with it though since it takes 4 coats. There's gotta be a polish out there that's the same color but better formula :P
