Revlon - Ocean

Hi everyone!!  Happy Tuesday ;0).  You know what that means...the twins are back!  Before I get to today's theme, let me tell you guys how the change of the clock knocked me out yesterday.  I got home and slept from 6pm.  Yes 6 in the evening.  I got back up around 9 and then went right back for the night.  At least I'm now well rested ;0).  Anyway, on to the polish!

For this Twinsie Tuesday, we had to post a green polish since St. Patrick's Day is this week.  I decided to wear Ocean from Revlon's Top Speed line.  I've had this one for so long and I'm only now giving it a try.  I remember being so attracted to it when I saw it in the store because it was such a pretty green.

Ocean is a metallic teal.  The formula was excellent for this one!!  If you use a medium coat, you can easily get full coverage and there would be no need for a second coat.  It is a very saturated polish.  You do need to be careful that balding doesn't occur though.  There were minor visible brush strokes, but not enough to bother me.  The polish also dried very quickly.

For this mani, I used Essie All in One Base, two coats of Ocean, and Seche Vite Fast Dry Top Coat.

I then added Kleancolor Sparkle Emerald to my ring finger and thumb for a little bit of sparkle.

What do you think of Ocean?  Are you wearing any green for St. Patrick's Day?

Be sure to check out my twinsies to see what green polish they chose this week:

    1. Thanks hon!! Yes, metallics aren't my favorite finish, but some are just so beautiful that I don't mind ;0).

  17. Pretty! I have a Revlon Ocean also but it's not Top Speed - it's in the 2nd release of the scented polishes released last summer. First they released the Fizz ones - all sheer micro glitters...then there were some metallics, creams, and just a general mix. I got Ocean - oh heck - just looked and it's called Ocean Breeze - I thought it would be odd if Revlon released 2 with the same name! I also have all my greens out...waiting for friends to come by and pick/choose what they might want to paint their St. Patty's mani's with. Thanks for the list - I will be looking through the blogs at 'other greens.'
