China Glaze - Recycle

Hi everyone!!  Happy Friday!  Boy am I glad for the weekend.

First, I'd like to congratulate Cryslovespolish and Drinkcitra on winning the Vinyl Remix polishes polishes in my giveaway.  They've been contacted and responded.  They both have blogs, so be sure to click on the links and check them out.
Today I have the second China Glaze I've ever tried.  Yep, the second.  The first was Exceptionally Gifted, which I shared months ago.  Clearly, I need to show China Glaze more love.  I have quite a few in my stash, but haven't gotten around to wearing them yet.

Recycle is a medium gray creme.  While it's nothing spectacular, I'm a gray lover, so I love it! The formula is a bit on the thick side and slightly runny, but it was manageable.  It was fully opaque in two coats and dried to a beautiful shine.  In the pictures below, I used Essie All in Base and two coats of Recycle; no top coat.

I decided to add one of my go to top coats for a little sparkle, Pure Pearlfection, then I finished it off with Seche Vite Fast Dry Top Coat:

I know those were a lot of pictures with Pure Pearlfection, but it's so pretty ;0).

What do you guys think of Recycle?  Are you a gray fan?

  5. Ooh, this looks great with Pure Pearlfection on the top! I love grey polish too, although I only have like two grey polishes in my stash. It's really nice for when you want something neutral but not boring! I think grey's a really awesome, edgy nail color.

  9. This is been a go to med. gray for me since it came out. I am SO glad you showed it with Essie Pearl Lux effects. Most folks are not picking up the Pearl effect thinking it will turn their polish into an old traditional pearl finish - oh so not how it works! It gives as you can see folks, the most amazing finish that is not a funky pearl/frost look. It sparkles and puts down a luster like it's a see through naker of what the highest quality of a white Tahitian pearl can be. I love the Pearl effects and hope that more will see it and try to see what it does. It looks fab over Recycle here - but it will look equally wow on darks and all shade hues/colors!

  10. You need to try some more China Glaze! It's my favorite brand! If I would live there I would probably buy every collection entirely. Recycle is definitely on my wishlist. I don't know what it is about grey, but I find it so chic on the nails. Looks great on you!
