Essie - Bobbing for Baubles

Hi everyone!!  I'm so happy it's Friday!  Work has been so busy this week that I definitely made up for being off on Monday and Tuesday.   I'm going to definitely take it easy this weekend.  I hope you guys are well.  Any plans?

I'm trying to use some of my untrieds.  I get so excited when I buy new polishes and rush to use those first and forget about the ones I've had for a while.  I'm sure I'm not the only one that has this problem ;0).  Anyhoo, Bobbing for Baubles is a really nice creme described by Essie as a deepest darkest sapphire.  It was a part of Essie's Winter 2011 Cocktail Bling Collection.

The formula for this polish was AMAZING!!  It went on effortlessly and was opaque in one coat.  Only because I am a creature of habit, did I use two coats.  One would have definitely been enough.

For the pics below, I used OPI Natural Nail Base Coat, 2 coats of Bobbing for Baubles, and Seche Vite Fast Dry Top Coat.

I think this is such a beautiful color.  Perfect for winter!

What do you think of Bobbing for Baubles?  Did you pick up anything from the Cocktail Bling collection?

Update: The first three pictures are updated swatches.

  3. I love colors like that, just classic and beautiful cremes! I personally don't have any from the Cocktail Bling collection; I ran to get Size Matters but unfortunately that was a major fail on me and I gave it to a friend :(

    1. I agree. This is definitely a classic. I was iffy about Size Matters, so I didn't pick it up. I think this one would look great on you though.

  8. I picked up School of Hard Rocks and Cocktail Bling, but passed on this one. Truth is that this collection is so great that I would need each and every one of them. I might reconsider this one. It looks gorgeous on you!
