Frankens from My Blue Lacquer (Sooo pic heavy!!)

Hi everyone!!  I have a not-so-quick second post for you today ;0).

I'd like to share some polishes with you that I received from Beanie at My Blue Lacquer.  Beanie has some amazing frankens.  This was my first time trying them out and I was very happy with them.  For all of the polishes, I used no base or top coat.  On to the polishes:

Drunk At Sea
Drunk at Sea is a glitter polish with a clear base and teal/green and holographic microglitter.  The glitter is pretty dense in this polish, but because it's so small, it's difficult to make it opaque on it's own.  The pic above is of 3 coats.  Here are a couple more pictures:

A blurry shot to show the holographic glitter

Natural Light
Because this is clearly a layering polish, I decided to layer it over Sally Hansen Jade Jump.

I was really happy with this combo and this polish in general.  It was easy to apply and went on evenly.  I'll definitely be using this again and again!

Flutter Heart
Flutter Heart is a gorgeous deep red jelly with red and silver microglitter.  The formula for this polish is excellent.  It went on smoothly and was pretty opaque for a jelly.  The first coat was a bit patchy, but it smoothed out evenly with a second coat.  Though there was still a bit of VNL, it was minimal.  This is definitely one of my favorites of the bunch.  Here are a few more pics:

I love how shiny this was even without the top coat.  And I love the silver glitter in it.

Blue Sangwich
Blue Sangwich is a baby blue jelly/creme with red, green, fuschia, silver, blue, orange and gold hexagon glitter (whoo, that was a mouthful).  It also has iridescent microglitter and blue shimmer.  These swatches are of 3 coats.

Application for Blue Sangwich was pretty easy.  I did experience a bit of balding, but I think it was mostly my fault.  I was quickly losing daylight when doing these swatches (NYC, smh), so I didn't wait long enough between coats.

I think Blue Sangwich is such a fun polish.  It makes me think of sprinkles and birthday cake for some reason, lol.  To be honest, at first I didn't think it looked so great on me, but it grew on me.

Purple Nerple
Purple Nerple is a  purple jelly with large silver hexagon glitter, smaller silver hexagon glitter, small circular glitter and silver holographic microglitter.  This one was glitterific and I like it!

Application of this polish was easy.  It was sheer though, so I ended up using 4 coats for the above swatches and still had VNL.  I'll have to give it a try over a similar color polish.  My only disappointment with this one was that it wasn't as dark as it looked in the bottle.  I really wanted it to be a darker purple.  You can see the difference here:
It's a blurry shot, but you can clearly see the difference with what's in the polish and what's on the nail.
Las Vegas Watermelon
Las Vegas Watermelon is a pink/coral jelly/creme with red, blue, and gold hexagon glitter and medium pink hexagon glitter.  It also has gold and black microglitter.  Forgive the lack of a proper bottle shot here, I accidentally deleted the one good one I had :(.

I really like this polish.  It's like nothing else I have.  Application was good and it was opaque in 3 coats.  There's also a gold shimmer to it that I love.

Beanie also threw in two other polishes which I was so happy about, Hot Cocoa and Azalea.

Hot Cocoa - Natural Light
Hot Cocoa is a brown/bronze shimmer.  It dried to a metallic finish, which I loved.  Though the first coat was a bit patchy, it leveled out on the 2nd coat.  I used 2 coats for these swatches, and as you can see, it was fully opaque.  It also dried very quickly ;0).

Artificial Light
Look at the beautiful glow it has.

I love this polish with my skin tone!

Azalea
Azalea is a pink jelly with fuschia glitter.  The glitter was very dense, which I really liked.  Application was very easy.  It is sheer though, so I used 3 coats and there was still VNL.  Like Purple Nerple, I will probably layer this over a similar color.

Look at all that beautiful glitter ;0)

This was definitely one of my favorites also.  You guys know I love these types of colors!!

Overall, I was very impressed with these polishes!!  Flutter Heart, Azalea, Hot Cocoa, and Las Vegas Watermelon were my favorites, but I love them all.  According to my daughter, "hmmm...she makes good polishes."  I have to agree.

What do you guys think?  Any favorites?

If you like any of the polishes you've seen in this post, head on over to My Blue Lacquer and place an order.
