Today, I'm sharing with you another Aldo polish called Shy Rose. If you missed the other post, you can see it here.
Shy Rose is one of my favorite polishes. It's a great neutral color. I would describe it as a tan, maybe light brown, with a hint of pink in it. I almost didn't make the purchase, because in the bottle the polish looked much lighter. However, the sales rep told me how gorgeous it was and that it reminded her of mocha, lol. I wasn't disappointed. I think this is a great fall color and very work-friendly.
The formula for this polish was excellent. It's not too thin or thick and it goes on smoothly. It's also opaque, so with two coats it was perfect. For this mani, I used Sally Hansen Double Duty Strengthening Base & Top Coat, two coats of Shy Rose, and Seche Vite fast dry top coat.
Please excuse my cuticles, they were in horrible condition when I did this mani. I still wanted you all to see this great polish:
|Indoors - Artificial Light|
|Outdoors - It was a cloudy/rainy day|
Aldo polishes can be found in Aldo Accessories stores. The cost was $5.
What do you guys think of this polish? Are you into neutrals?
