Brucci - Heidi's Glow

Hi everyone!  Today I did my manicure with Heidi's Glow by Brucci.  I picked up this color a few weeks back at Rite Aid because I thought it was so pretty in the bottle.  It's pretty on my nails as well.  It's a beautiful pink/purple with little specks of gold shimmer in it.  I had no problems with the application, the polish went on smoothly.  It's sheer though, so it required three coats.

I also decided to do some nail art on my ring fingers, which didn't come out the way I liked.  I used Heidi's Glow with Alexandra's "Hot" Gray (where do they get these names?).  The design came out nicely, but it's really difficult to see it because of how light it is.  I used white as a base (Sinful Colors - Snow Me White), but I didn't use enough of the two other colors so it's very pale.  I've definitely done better designs in the past.

This was taken indoors with artificial light

You can see the glitter in this shot.  I really love this polish!

I decided to use my beautiful green mug as a background.  See how pale the water art is?

I also didn't like how rough the polish was around the edges.  But I wanted to share the design with you guys ;0)
For this mani, I used Sally Hansen Hard as Nails as a base coat, 2 coats of the polish, and Seche Vite fast dry top coat.

Let me know what you think of this color!

  1. My mother loved Brucci polish back in the day! I wish I could find some in Atlanta. Anyway, the color is pretty- I love anything with purple. And cute water art!

I love hearing from you all. So feel free to leave a comment :0). I'll read each and every one! Comments with links will be deleted!
