Colores de Carol - Blizzard

Hi fellow nail polish lovers!!!

Today, I have a Colores de Carol polish to share with you.  Blizzard is a white base with silver and gold glitter.  It has a good formula and was opaque in two coats.  Here I used two coats with no base or top coat.

This polish is really pretty, but in person, I felt it was too white against my skin tone.  I decided to add more color by free handing Beauty UK Aztec and A-England Excalibur on my nails alternately.

I really liked the addition of the gold and silver to this polish.  It made a great combo.

What do you guys think of Blizzard?  Is this your kind of polish?

Mavala - Candy Floss

Hi fellow nail polish lovers!!

Today, I have a Mavala polish to share with you.  I received this one from Lauretta when she visited NYC.  Candy Floss is a bubble gum pink creme with shimmer.  The formula is slightly patchy, but there is good coverage if you use thicker coats.  I decided to use Pirouette My Whistle as an accent.

This is such a beautiful pink, it's my kind of color ;0).  I think it looks even prettier with Pirouette My Whistle, what about you?

For my base, I used Sally Hansen Triple Strong and I used Dazzle Dry Top Coat.

What do you guys think of this girly pink?  Do you own any Mavala polishes?

Twinsie Tuesday Revisited!

Hi fellow nail polish lovers!!

This week's Twinsie Tuesday theme is to revisit any challenge we particularly enjoyed.  I enjoyed many challenges, so I had to narrow it down.  I decided to go with saran wrap since I haven't done it in a long time.  I decided to use Pure Nail Lacquer Lucid and Honesty, Lucid was my base.  I then added Beauty Secrets Top Coat.

I love these two colors together, they make a really fun combo!

Color Club - Blue Heaven

Hi everyone!!

I have an awesome polish to take your Monday Blues away!  Blue Heaven is an awesome blue linear holo from Color Club's 2012 Halo Hues collection.  I used two coats with Dazzle Dry base and top coat in these pics.

I absolutely love this polish!!! The only thing is I needed a ridge filler with this polish. It's difficult to see in the pics, but I didn't like seeing the imperfections in my nails.  It's an awesome holo though!!

What do you guys think of Blue Heaven?  Did you grab any Halo Hues up?

Zoya - Akyra

Hi fellow nail polish lovers!!

Today I have a birthday gift that I received from Cordia, Zoya Akyra.  It's a lovely dark green that applies really well, but its sheerer than you'd expect.  I used three coats for it to match the look in the bottle.

As you can see, I decided to add a little something to Akyra.
Middle finger: One coat of VS Supercharged over Akyra
Ring Finger: Beauty UK Aztec
Thumb: Beauty UK Aztec and leopard print using Akyra and Nicka K Noir

I used Tip Top Rebuild as a base and NYC Grand Central as a top coat.
